THE game is up for Premier Bingo after the company announced that their Cowdenbeath club has closed with immediate effect.

A post on their Facebook page said that the hall on High Street, as well as their premises in Alloa and Perth, would shut with the company plunged into administration.

The customer announcement, late on Tuesday night, stated: "Due to circumstances outwith our control we regret to announce that Premier Bingo will cease trading immediately.

"All clubs are now closed and the company is in administration.

"We will make a statement after this process has finished."

Back in February 2021 Premier Bingo had called for more financial assistance for the industry and warned that bingo clubs in Scotland were "at risk of collapse".
