More than 30 primary school girls kept themselves active during a week-long camp at Lochgelly High School that allowed them to try out several sports.

Netball, gymnastics, badminton and dodgeball were among activities offered by the Central Park Community Trust (CPCT), and volunteers from Active Schools’ Young Leadership Pathway

Girls' and women's activity coordinator at CPCT Peyton Brown said: “This was the first girls multisport camp we have delivered, and it was a fantastic week.

“It was great to see the girls trying new activities, getting active and making new friends. The female coaches were great role models, and we hope to repeat this camp at the next opportunity.”
