COWDEN fans have an open line of communication from the terraces to the boardroom thanks to the role of Scott Southgate.
A digital upgrade on the club's website means there's now a section giving direct access to him as the supporter liaison officer (SLO).
And in a major boost to Cowden's profile, that commitment to fan engagement has now been officially recognised on a national level.
Following proactive discussions with Scott, the club has been added to the Supporters Direct Scotland (SDS) national directory.
This inclusion highlights Cowdenbeath's professionalism, as they are now listed alongside major SPFL clubs as having an active, recognised SLO.
It's one of only a select few clubs outside the top leagues - alongside Bonnyrigg Rose and Brechin City - to be featured on the platform.
And the national networking is already paying dividends for the match day experience at Central Park and away from home.
Scott is now part of the official SLO Scotland network, resulting in early collaboration with clubs like Brechin.
They are already liaising ahead of their upcoming fixtures next season to ensure a smooth, welcoming and safe afternoon for both sets of travelling supporters.
Cowdenbeath will also be represented at future SLO Scotland network meetings at Hampden Park, ensuring the voice of the Blue Brazil fans is heard at the highest levels of Scottish football.

Reflecting on the progress, Scott said this week: "It has been on my agenda to officially reach out to Supporters Direct Scotland to enable the official registration of my role, having now proudly served as SLO for two seasons.
“It has also been particularly heart warming to be added to the national SLO chat group and receive such a warm welcome to the Scotland network from so many SPFL clubs."
