Tam O'Ware has praised the impact of Dylan Corr and is hopeful he'll continue to develop in a Kelty Hearts shirt next season.
The central defender joined the Maroon Machine in January, on loan from Championship outfit Greenock Morton, until the end of the season.
On transfer deadline day, that arrangement became permanent, until the end of the campaign, after the 21-year-old reached a mutual agreement to terminate his Cappielow deal.
Corr, who came through the ranks at Celtic, and had a spell at Raith Rovers, made 15 appearances for O'Ware's side in the second half of the season.
Unfortunately, he was unable to help prevent them suffering relegation to League Two, and suffered an injury in their penultimate game with Cove Rangers, which condemned them to the drop.
Kelty have begun preparations for next season, with Murray Thomas, Aaron Arnott and Arran Pettifer departing, and opening talks with five out-of-contract players.
Corr and Lewis Moore, whose deals were also up this summer, have put pen to paper for next season, and O'Ware said: "Dylan, since he's came in, has been terrific. He's done really well.
"He's at a good age as well. it's the first time he's played consecutively, and got a spell in a squad, so, again, he's still got a lot of learning to do which, hopefully, next year will bring that.
"We know how much quality Moorey's got and he's probably suffered a wee bit, compared to a lot of the boys, in terms of playing out of position, and having to make do in certain roles.
"We're looking forward to getting Moorey under contract and filling the squad with quality."
Former Heart of Midlothian youth Moore, 27, joined Kelty from Queen's Park in the summer of 2023, and has made 101 appearances, scoring 11 goals.
