A former Kelty Hearts midfielder has announced his retirement from playing after departing the club at the end of last season.
Scott Allan, who spent one campaign at New Central Park after moving there last summer, has hung up his boots after a career that has also taken in stints at clubs such as Hibernian and Celtic.
The 33-year-old, however, is set to remain in the game after joining League Two newcomers, East Kilbride, as first team coach.

Capped on 10 occasions by Scotland at under-21 level, Allan was brought to Kelty by then player / manager, Michael Tidser, having left Arbroath.
He also took up a coaching role with the 'Maroon Machine' and, after making his competitive bow in a Premier Sports Cup draw at Elgin City, made his first home appearance in a sensational 1-0 win over former club Hibs in the same competition.
In total, Allan played 22 times for the club, under three different managers - Tidser, his successor, Charlie Mulgrew, and current player / boss, Tam O'Ware - and scored twice, in wins over Stenhousemuir and Arbroath.
He was one of seven permanent squad members to depart and his last game in a maroon shirt - a 2-2 draw at Cove Rangers, which secured their League One status - proved to be his final outing as a professional player.
On social media, he said: "As i step away from playing the game I love, I want to take a moment to reflect on my journey.
"From the time I was a kid, it was my dream to play in front of a full stadium, wearing my name on the back of my shirt. The feeling, the adrenaline, the connection with fans—nothing compares to that feeling.
"I owe immense gratitude to my family. Your unwavering support throughout my battle with diabetes has been my anchor. You took me to training week in and week out, fostering my passion and perseverance on and off the field.
As i step away from playing the game i love , I want to take a moment to reflect on my journey. Allan began his career with Dundee United before leaving for West Bromwich Albion, where he spent two years, which took in loan spells with Portsmouth, MK Dons and Birmingham City.
He returned to Scotland in 2014 to join Hibs where, after a year in Leith, he moved on to Celtic.
Allan won the 2015-16 Scottish Premiership title with the Hoops, but also spent time on loan with Rotherham United, Dundee and the Hibees, whom he re-joined permanently in 2019.
He left Easter Road in 2022, signing for Arbroath, but a year later joined Northern Irish side Larne on a season-long loan, where he won the Northern Irish Premiership title, before moving to Kelty.
