Lochgelly Albert opened their preparations for the new season with two friendlies in as many days earlier this week.
The Berts, East of Scotland League Third Division champions, travelled to Blairgowrie Juniors on Saturday, before hosting Crossgates Primrose on Monday evening.
Their visit to Davie Park in their opening saw them take on a home side who in the SJFA (Scottish Junior Football Association) East Region Midlands League, and return home with a 2-1 victory.

A brace early in the second period from Jens Moret decided the fixture, which saw two of the club's under-20s make their senior debuts, in Lochgelly's favour, and they then entertained fellow Fifers Primrose at Purvis Park.
Alan Campbell's Crossgates, who are one tier above the Berts in the East of Scotland League pyramid, were playing their first pre-season match and won 5-2.
Primrose are next due to travel to Kennoway Star Hearts on Saturday, before tackling Cowdenbeath at Central Park on Tuesday July 15, whilst the Berts are scheduled to go to Thornton Hibs this Saturday.
