COWDENBEATH have been making progress on finding a new manager to replace Calum Elliot, who left for Bonnyrigg Rose at the end of March.
They received well over 20 applications for the post, and having sifted through these, approaches will this week be made to a number of candidates.
Club secretary, David Allan, said: “We have been moving our plans to find a new manager forward in a structured way and will be making approaches to the relevant people.
“We would hope to have someone in place within the next few days.”
With the close Lowland League season now in full swing, the club’s board realises that recruitment of new players for the 2024-25 season needs to start very soon so an appointment will be imminent.
