KELTY HEARTS played host to two Scottish Women's Football (SWF) cup semi-finals back-to-back on Sunday afternoon.

New Central Park was chosen as the host venue for the SWF Championship and League One Cup last four matches, contested by Dryburgh Athletic and Ayr United, and Rossvale and Renfrew Ladies.

As part of the governing body's aim to engage with communities across the country, Fifers had the chance to watch both games for just £5 for adults, and £2 for concessions, whilst under-16s were admitted for free.

The SWF Championship and League One Cup is in its third year and was created to provide a high-level league cup competition for clubs sitting in the national leagues below the SWPL (Scottish Women's Premier League).

Dryburgh, inaugural winners of the tournament, made it a hat-trick of final appearances against Ayr, semi-finalists last season, thanks to Stacey McFadyen's decisive strike in the final minute of extra-time, whilst Championship league leaders Rossvale joined them in progressing with a 5-2 success over Renfrew.
