COWDENBEATH have signed towering centre-back Jack Denham on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The 6’ 5” 22-year-old was with East of Scotland First Division side, Rosyth, and was signed by the Blues on a delayed contract for next season.
However, after Rosyth found difficulties in being able to continue to operate two weeks ago, Cowden moved to make the defender’s acquisition occur immediately.
Cowden’s football operations co-ordinator, Colin Nelson, explained: “He is someone we had watched ever since we played a friendly against Rosyth at the start of the season.
“We had agreed a pre-contract agreement with Jack, but due to the unfortunate situation that happened at Rosyth, we have brought him to the club now.
“He is a powerful centre-back, with many attributes, and his passion to join the club is impressive."
Jack said: “I am delighted to be able to join for the next few seasons, and I am looking forward to the challenge.”
Jack’s brother, Sam, was on loan with Cowdenbeath during the 2021-22 season.
