HEAVY rain hit the local East of Scotland football card yet again, on Saturday, with the three fixtures scheduled postponed.
The Premier League game between Crossgates Primrose and Tynecastle was an early victim of the incessant wet conditions, along with the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup third round tie between Dundonald Bluebell and Haddington Athletic.
It was soon followed by the First Division clash involving Lochore Welfare at home to Whitehill Welfare.
Club officials are hopeful that the weather will relent to allow this weekend’s matches to take place.
The local schedule for Saturday is: East of Scotland Premier League, Glenrothes v Hill of Beath Hawthorn 2.30pm, Dundonald Bluebell v Crossgates Primrose 2.30pm.
East of Scotland First Division, Lochore Welfare v Rosyth 2pm. Third Division, Edinburgh Community v Lochgelly Albert 2pm.
