RANGERS have broken the 100,000 shirt sales sales barrier after opening their new Ibrox shop.
The revamped Rangers Store was officially launched in partnership with Castore on Thursday and many fans have queued for hours to get their hands on the home and away kits and training gear that Steven Gerrard’s side will wear this term.
The new third kit will be launched at noon on Sunday before the Light Blues play their first home league game of the campaign against St Mirren.
Gerrard said: “The Rangers fans never cease to amaze me. The team were being sent through pictures after our game on Thursday night, of queues the length of the stadium.
“That loyalty and support gives the management and team a real boost, and it is never taken for granted.”
Fans have raised complaints about the late arrival of pre-orders and a club statement read: “Both Rangers and Castore apologise to those fans who have not received their shirts to date.
"The majority were due to an issue with a third-party courier and all products have now been resent as a priority by Castore with a commitment that any remaining issues with delivery will be resolved by no later than 15 August.”
