Dora set to house major event

This is the seventh year running that the Dora Course has staged the competition and it and our biggest field to date.

Said Scott Duthie: "It started with 12 players seven years ago from guys who play five asides together and it had grown each year.

"The red and blue teams are led by two captains red and it is all about players of all abilities from 2 handicappers to guys who are sharing clubs!

"It is always a fun day played in good spirit".

The first tee-off time is 1:30pm at Cowdenbeath Golf Club 15 other matches to follow.

The presentation will take place in the clubhouse afterwards, which provides much needed financial contribution to the golf club in these difficult times. The build up can be followed on Twitter
