AS Lochore Welfare continue to build for next season the club has fixed up who they feel are key players for their first venture into the East of Scotland League.

Scott Small, took over as club captain from Kearyn Hicks, who went to Hill of Beath Hawthorn last season and became a very influential figure.

This will be his fourth season at the club and will be a key part of the coming season in their new set-up.

Scott Renton, is in his second spell with the club and suffered a bad knee injury last pre-season which left him missing most of the campaign.

The team's results in his absence showed how important he is to the team as they struggled to get early wins in the East Super League.

Scott is now hoping to get back to the form that saw him land the player of the year award in 2015/2016.

Logan Donaldson, set for his fifth season at the club and is the longest serving player in the current squad. He has developed into a mainstay of the team and the club are delighted to secure him for another season.

Meanwhile Adam Doig - striker and coach, signed on for another season after suffering a bad shoulder injury at the start of last season.

Manager James Adam is delighted to have Adam sign on for another year.

"It is excellent to have these lads aboard, the likes of Adam brings so much to our team on and off the park and Scott was a big miss for most of last season and Adam was also missing in the early stages and having Logan is so very important us".
