COWDENBEATH have the chance to burst back into third place in Ladbrokes League 2 tonight when they take on Albion Rovers at Central Park in a re-arranged game.

The draw with second top Edinburgh City on Saturday saw the Blues drop to fifth spot, albeit on goal difference, but if they beat the Coatbridge men tonight they will again go clear in third spot ahead of Queen's Park and Elgin City.

Manager Gary Bollan said: "I felt we were really unlucky not to win against City, for we created so many chances.

"However, we have to keep that form going against a team who are real battlers but I know we have the quality to win the game if we play as we did at the weekend."

Link man Gavin Morrison is again sidelined along with the suspended Chris Hamilton, and striker Kris Renton hurt a rub against City but should be fit enough to play and midfielder Mikey Herd has recovered from flu symptoms. The kick-off is 7.45pm.
