COWDENBEATH boss Gary Bollan is hoping that tonight's re-arranged match at Coatbridge with Albion Rovers goes ahead.

The mixture of rain and snow in Lanarkshire yesterday gave the Rovers' groundstaff more problems, but the dry overnight conditions and a decent forecast for today, gives everyone hope that the recent postponements can be forgotten.

Said the manager: "It will be good to get back into action tonight after the disappointment of Saturday, having to turn back after the weather turned foul up in Elgin.

"We need to be playing and winning games now to secure our place in the top four but we know it will be tough against Albion Rovers who are fighting hard to get away from the bottom area of the table."

Midfielder Gavin Morrison will be a definite non-starter for this one with a stomach injury but Mikey Herd is ready to return.

Meanwhile Saturday's postponed fixture will now take place on Tuesday March 10 at Elgin.
