Rangers make the trip to Portugal for their Europa League second-leg clash against Braga on Wednesday evening.

Last week's 3-2 victory for Gers sees Steven Gerrard's men make the visit with a slender lead, despite conceding two away goals. The visitors know they merely have to equal Braga this week to make it through to the last-16.

Thursday evenings are usually scheduled for Europa League action, however, Rangers will play on Wednesday evening at 5pm.

Rangers fans react: Stunning Braga comeback and Ianis Hagi's 'Ibrox baby' catchphrase

This is due to the fact that Braga's rivals FC Porto are at home at the Estadio do Dragao on Thursday evening in their own European clash with Bayer Leverkusen.

With just a short travel distance between the two cities of around 45 minutes, UEFA opted to allow Braga to play the evening before to avoid any potential issues between supporters.

This means Gers will jet out to Portugal earlier in the week than usual.

Meanwhile, Braga go into their game against the Glasgow giants following a 3-1 win in league action against Vitoria Setubal yesterday. It comes as the Light Blues stuttered against St Johnstone in a 2-2 draw.
