DUNDONALD Bluebell and Crossgates Primrose will meet on the opening day of the East of Scotland League Premier Division season.

The fixture list for the Premier Division, and Conference A and Conference B in the First Division, was released last Friday and it has served up an intriguing match at Moorside Park on July 27.

Hill of Beath Hawthorn, the third local side that will take part in an East of Scotland League top flight also containing the likes of Linlithgow Rose, Bo'ness United and Camelon, will go to Sauchie in their opener.

Midweek matches will immediately follow, with the 'Bell at home to Bo'ness on Tuesday July 30, and the Haws and Primrose hosting Broxburn Athletic and Jeanfield Swifts respectively 24 hours later, before they play Newtongrange Star, Dunbar and Bo'ness respectively on August 3.

Hill of Beath will go to Crossgates on September 7 – with the return scheduled for Keir's Park on January 4 – while they will face Dundonald at home on November 16, with the reverse fixture taking place on January 11.

The first preliminary round of the William Hill Scottish Cup is scheduled for August 10 and, unless they receive a bye, both Haws and the Bluebell will enter at this stage.

The second preliminary round will be played on August 31 and, if both clubs are successful in negotiating it, they will be in the draw for the first round of the tournament, which will take place on September 21.
