COWDENBEATH'S supporters club in Shropshire, The Salopian Blue Brazilians, were thoroughly delighted with their visit to Central Park for the Elgin City game.

The large party of fans enjoyed meeting manager Gary Bollan and first team coach Ian Flaherty, and Jordyn Sheerin's dramatic late winner put the icing on the cake for them.

Josh Dickin write to the club last week: "We the Shropshire Blue Brazilians, would like to thank everyone involved with Cowdenbeath FC for the great experience and hospitality we had at the Elgin City game on Saturday.

"From start to finish it was brilliant. We'd like to thank you for organising and accommodating us.

"A great big thank you to Tom and Margaret, nothing seemed too much. And what wonderful people they are!

"Topped of by a great chat in Wee Jimmies after the game. And everyone involved in making our day so great, everybody was kind and friendly. "The food and drink was superb, also meeting the manager was a highlight. Also helped by a Cowdenbeath win. We look forward to visiting again. Many Thanks on behalf of the Shropshire Blue Brazilians."

Another visitor at the Elgin game was, Jim Clark along with his son Andrew.

Jim is the brother of the late Cowdenbeath player Tom Clark.

They thoroughly enjoyed the day and they also joined the Club 135 Roll of Honour which will also now have added to the list of names - ‘In Memory of Tom ‘Big Tam’ Clark’.
