AFTER Saturday's horror finish against Annan, Cowdenbeath are looking to put things right when Albion Rovers come to Central Park tonight.

Two goals for the visitors and a red card for new signing Luc Bollan in the closing few minutes of Saturday's home game, saw the Blue Brazil slip 12 points behind the Athletic, albeit with two games in hand, in the race for the top four slots in Ladbrokes League 2.

They will look to get back on track this evening against the bottom team in the division and they will have centre-back Robbie Deas back in the side after missing Saturday through playing in Spain for Scotland 19s.

Cowden manager Gary Bollan is wanting his team to step things up this evening after a poor second-half on Saturday: "We have 14 games left and our aim has to be to win as many as possible to put pressure on Annan.

"Tonight's game is no easy task though. We have drawn twice with Rovers, and in each game we have had to come from behind so we have to look to get in front and stay there."

Cowden will be without Luc Bollan, who is suspended for his red card against Annan, and left-back Jason Talbot, who suffered a knee knock against Rangers.

However, Deas is ready to resume and Mr Bollan may look to get speed merchants Jordan Allan and Matt Henvey involved from the start in this one. The game kicks-off at 7.45pm.
