THE regular and popular sessions of Walking Football held every Thursday at Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre are now back in full swing – and have moved indoors for the winter when necessary.
The time for each session has now been amended to 12pm-1pm every Thursday – this means if the weather is inclement the session will move inside to the hall at the Centre.
The Walking Football is part of Cowdenbeath FC's community programme and director David Allan said: "More and more people are coming along and it is proving increasingly popular. "So get fit and relive the glories of yesteryear with a kick-about with like-minded people who still love playing the game.
"Someone asked how do you stop yourself from running when playing walking football? – the simple answer probably is ‘By being old and/or unfit!’
