THE Beath High basketballers have had a busy few months, with no little success.

The Senior girls Basketball has been a growing force within Beath with up to 30 girls training on a Monday night after school in the New Games Hall. They have been competing in the Scottish Cup this year with games against Strathallan, Fraserburgh, Arbroath and Perth.

They have competed well in each and now face Denny In the plate round of 16 here at Beath shortly.

The U-15 Boys also competed in the Scottish Cup and played against Perth and Inverkeithing. Another squad which has lots of new faces representing Beath.

Meanwhile the Senior Boys, is a new group which are currently competing in the Fife League.

The boys have competed well in every game, considering they are made up entirely of fourth years. The future is very bright for this group if they can stick together with this year ending in a Fife Cup competition.

S1 boys and girls team have seen huge numbers have been attending training with over 30 S1 pupils representing Beath in the Fife League competition held at the school.

All squads have shown huge potential with the Boys A Team going unbeaten on the night and both other squads picking up victories and valuable experience. The S1 boys also competed in the Scottish Cup have put up a great fight against a strong Perth Grammar team.
