SOME 12 S1 pupils from Beath High represented the school at the Fife Schools Gymnastics competition.
They all competed very well and were a credit to themselves and the school.
Each pupil competed a floor routine and a vault at the competition held at Levenmouth Academy.
The Beath A team came out with a team score of 75.2 and were placed 2nd overall.
An excellent result and one that qualifies them for the Scottish Finals at Bells Sports Centre in Perth in 2019.
The Beath B team also performed extremely well and only narrowly missed out on a bronze medal by 0.15! With all the teams only being S1 and performing so well the future of gymnastics remains very bright at Beath!
A huge well done and thank you went to the young leaders who have been giving up their time to run the gymnastics club and to get the gymnasts ready for the competition: Rhona , Paige , Hollie and Cameron .
Said one of the members of staff involved: "Well done to everyone involved and good luck for the Scottish Finals!"
