THE freezing weather of the end of last week put paid to all five fixtures involving local sides.

As far as Kelty Hearts were concerned their match at CS Strollers was postponed but one of their Lowland League rivals BSC Glasgow played and won comfortably moving above Hearts into second top spot.

While their league game was off Hearts took on Dundonald Bluebell at New Central Park in a friendly.

It was a game which was affected by the strong wind but it was an entertaining affair with Hearts winning 3-2 with goals from Jamie Devlin, Ross Mutch and Scott Dalziel.

There is a limited fixture list this Saturday, but Hearts will be looking to get back on the winning league trail when they entertain Vale of Leithen.

The other match going on is an East of Scotland League Conference B derby between Crossgates and Dundonald.

The programme is, Lowland League, Kelty Hearts v Vale of Leithen (3pm). East of Scotland League Conference B, Crossgates Primrose v Dundonald Bluebell (1.30pm).
