COWDENBEATH Football Club is looking to recruit a part-time, volunteer kit man to work with their kit manager who has responsibility for the club's first team.

The post holder will assist the kit manager who is in charge of the club's kit requirements and this includes both matchday and training.

Said director David Allan: "This is an ideal role for a Cowdenbeath fan or someone with an interest in football. "You will be part of the club’s backroom team which works closely with the coaching and playing staff – right at the ‘coal face’ in the SPFL. Hours and specific duties will be agreed by the kit manager – at present as well as matchdays, the key focus is on training nights on Tuesday and Thursday normally at Oriam in Edinburgh. If you are interested in this role and in being part of the Central Park team please initially contact the club on 01383 610166 or by e-mail on office@cowdenbeathfc.com"

The kit man will assist with some of these or handle specific matters on a delegated/deputy basis as agreed by the kit manager: • To manage the club's kit requirements, ensuring that all regular duties are completed. • To deal with the first team management and staff's kit requirements. • To organise kit distribution which involves communicating with the first team manager. • To be responsible for kit stock levels and control.
