THE Beath S1/2 rugby squad has been growing in numbers and managed to have their first outing in November.
Playing as a combined team with Queen Anne HS, they visited Levenmouth Academy in Buckhaven to take on the local team.
The match was played in one period of 40 minutes where there would normally be two halves of 20 minutes. It was played at a great pace and with a lot of good spirit.
Levenmouth took an early lead but the game was dominated by the combined side with all of the Beath players contributing to a fine win.
Although the game was finished in near darkness, it had been an enjoyable experience for players, staff and some parents who came along to support their youngsters.
More matches are planned for the squad after the Christmas break.
