COWDENBEATH now look like they will play Stenhousemuir on a Tuesday night before Christmas.
Saturday's match was postponed shortly before mid-day when a referee's inspection found hard areas on the pitch following the frost of the previous few days.
And even with the temperature moving steadily upwards the whistler opted to postpone the game.
The likely date of the match now is Tuesday December 19.
Said club director David Allan: "Following discussions re the postponement, it is expected that the match will now be played on Tuesday December 19.
"We are just awaiting final confirmation from Stenhousemuir and then will submit request to SPFL for this to be scheduled".
