KELTY HEARTS have bolstered their squad for the Super League run-in by signing two players from the senior ranks.

Former Morton and Cowdenbeath hitman Archie Campbell and ex Arbroath midfielder David Banjo have joined Thomas Courts' side as they bid to retain their championship crown.

Dunfermline-born Campbell started his career with Rangers but failed to make the grade at Ibrox.

He enjoyed a productive loan spell with the Blue Brazil in 2011, scoring five goals in 17 games, before signing for Morton, where he scored 21 goals in 85 appearances.

A season long stint with Dumbarton followed before he joined Clyde last summer after being released by the Sons.

Banjo joined Arbroath in 2012 and remained at Gayfield until last January before making the move to Angus rivals Montrose.

A move to Berwick Rangers in the summer saw him make just 10 appearances but the new arrivals will provide Courts with extra competition as his side go for glory in the league, Junior Cup and Fife and Lothians Cup.

Kelty take on Blackburn United tomorrow at Central Park in the Fife and Lothians Cup, while Lochgelly Albert and Dundonald Bluebell are in East of Scotland Cup action.

Albert travel to Bo'ness United while Bluebell host Whitburn, and in league action, Hill of Beath Hawthorn host Musselburgh in the Super League while North Division Lochore Welfare face Blairgowrie.

All matches kick off at 2pm.
