I WAS hoping that some Times readers could help me.

I have a copy of the Central Fife Times, 'Times Gone By' paper from January 2006 which shows a photograph of the Muldoon Twisters.

My late husband came from Cowdenbeath but moved to Yorkshire where I still live.

I have the family papers and amongst them was a photograph of my husband's grandfather, George Robertson, who was born in Dundee in1896.

He is with a group of young men in front of a tent one of whom is holding a sign Mysterious. They have an old fashioned gramophone and they are all wearing similar hats to the Muldoon Twisters.

I would love to know if anyone might have any information about what they were doing, did they entertain doing magic tricks?

George served in WW1 and was awarded the Military Medal. He married in Cowdenbeath, became a miner but sadly died in 1949 aged 53.

I would be most grateful for any information. With many thanks,

JOAN ROBERTSON.

If anyone can help Joan email editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk and we will get in touch with her.
