I MUST admit that the guy who is looking to raise a lot of funds to fight homelessness in Scotland has a lot of desire to succeed, judging by your story in the Times.

He was able to pull himself out of the circle of despair when he was a druggie and ended up becoming a successful soldier and that really showed a lot of determination when it would have been easy to go back to what had become the norm.

His book will be a good read, I would imagine, as it will tell people how he got into the mess he was in and what he did to get out of it. But he must have been really determined.

He seems to have people in the right places to help him in his fundraising for his project with some of his old Army mates on board so that is a plus for him.

It will be interesting to hear what he has planned to try and help the homeless, but probably few will have his desire to improve his lot.

Me thinks that is what got him back on the right path, but I suppose he will know the mindset of those folk who he his trying to help and that will be a clear advantage.

If he succeeds it will be the story of the century, hey and surely feature film stuff!
