I WENT for a walk last week. As you will see from the picture there was graffiti on the information board at Dalbeath Marsh.
From there I had a walk to the Community Woodland. The bug hide we installed last year has been tampered with .
They have attempted to remove the wire mesh surround. Not much when you look at it. But just to add to the bins being destroyed in both areas last year it's just more vandalism, along with motorbikes and quads churning up the paths .
Both of these sites are ideal for walking throughout. But why oh why the continued vandalism.
What about a bit of respect! As well as the vandalism these areas continue to be dumping grounds for all sorts of rubbish and litter.
Unfortunately the council don't litter pick inside these sites .This is done by volunteers who give up their spare time.
Please when your out in the countryside take your litter home or if there is a bin in the area please use it. Or better still take it to the recycle centre.
GREEN WATCHER,
Cowdenbeath.
