WHAT the hell is going on? This massive compensation from the Shell and Exxon plants is surely for folk on the receiving end of all that comes from flaring, ie noise, vibration, dirt, fear, anxiety and breathing conditions.

I cannot imagine why this councillor, Mr Campbell is not just assuming but stating any compensation will be via themselves, ie councils, committees and councillors?

And the 'purse'' or 'community pot' could be could be put into after folks and individual homes affected have been paid. Only after all those who have been and still are on the receiving end of this nuisance.

The hostile way all those poor folk are being treated is disgusting. It is ignoring their plight. Building up to all receiving compensation who are in certain areas, should be paid first. Then and only then would the public believe this compensation was valid.

Without showing compassion for those who are the victims of the past assaults of these plants, to deny any home compensation would be highlighted with many questions. We want to trust these plants so Shell and Exxon show that you really care and pay them, not committees.
