MSP Jenny Gilruth quotes 137 areas which "MIGHT" impact on the most vulnerable people in Fife and quotes loss of Legal rights, employment protection and healthcare rights.
Can she please elaborate on these highlighted areas? and perhaps outline the remaining 134 areas?
Our healthcare rights namely preferential care for the elderly and under 5's , and also maternity care have all but evaporated.
I had two children in the mid 70's and early 80's, the care I received was exemplary, with regular visits to the clinics, bearing in mind this was in the days before scans.
GP visits for the elderly are no more. No ante natal clinics and further more my niece had an emergency caesarean, four months later, still no post natal.
I look forward to the complete list of potential impacts, however I'm sure if anyone cares to check inflation , unemployment and interest rates in the mid 70's, bearing in mind the profiteering that followed decriminalisation and the confusion this caused, life before the EEC/EU, wasn't bad at all.
E HUNTER,
Cardenden.
