THE new traffic lights at the site where B&M and Lidl are in Cowdenbeath are causing massive confusion, and if it isn't fixed there is going to be an accident.
I stood and watched the changing of the lights, at the junction with Foulford Road and High Street for about 15 minutes and was shocked at what I saw.
You will rarely hear the blaring of car horns in Cowdenbeath, but this has changed.
Drivers are unsure of the right of way on this junction and this is causing impatience for other drivers.
The major problem seems to be the lights from the retail park and Foulford Road both being green at the same time.
I suggest it would be common sense that this problem is looked at from the appropriate people before someone gets hurt.
It is a dangerous situation just now, this will be even more of a hazard when Lidl opens. One last thing, there were seven people that I counted debating the situation in the car park.
AULD JOHN,
Lochgelly.
