IT is so very encouraging to hear of the progress being made on a mining heritage site at Lochore Meadows Country Park.
The people from Newtongrange were bound to have been impressed by the Mary Pithead Gear and the space which is there that can be used for display purposes.
Maybe by next summer the project will see items in place with more to come.
