AFTER waiting years for safer traffic calming measures to be implemented in our village what a fiasco this has turned out to be.
Fife Council Roads Department, in their infinite wisdom, have removed the islands and replaced them with so called speed ramps.
You can barely feel a ripple as you pass over them.
Far from reducing the hazard from speeding drivers they now have virtually no deterrent whatsoever. Well done Fife Council planners.
