COULD I just use your columns to praise the organisers of the Lumphinnans Fun Day.
They had put an awful lot of effort into organising the day and then on the Saturday morning woke up to rain tumbling down.
At times it got torrential but they did not panic and decided to hold the event come what may.
The weather improved and a good day was had and we even saw the sun at times.
The great thing was that the children had fun and that was the key thing about it all so well done everyone.
