I WOULD like to bring to Times readers the Fife Independent Film Enterprise (FIFE Film), a new social enterprise that is about making films and developing sustainable facilities, working with others involved in performing arts in and around Fife.

The meeting will take place at Tiffany's at Carnegie Hall, in Dunfermline, on Monday June 17 from 7.00pm with a meeting start of 7.30 pm.

The basic information around the meeting is to consider forming a social enterprise and consider a Performing Arts Centre Partnership, agree a constitution and also forming a steering group.

The meeting is open to all who have in interest in helping to make films from filmmakers and actors to make up artists and costume designers to those who simply want to support with transport, catering or other important roles in the Fife and surrounding areas.

Please respond to info@nblbfilms.com to let us know you are coming or if you are unable to take part at this meeting but would like to be involved.

Please note that we will need to elect a small steering group on the 17th so please consider putting yourself forward or someone that you know who could play a positive role - this does not need to be a film person as the role of the Steering group is to organise and develop the group, so a good range of skills will be needed.

This is an important event if you are a local person interested in film so come along and get involved.

Kerrisk Drive,

Dunfermline.
