GREAT to see our Haws getting their SFA licence, well deserved after a power of work behind the scenes.

Dave Baillie deserves a medal for the work he has done over the past 40 years.

The club could meet one of the league sides in the Scottish Cup which would be unbelievable for a team that was seen as a decent junior lot some years go.

Dave and Jock Finlayson have stood by the club no matter what and are still at it although the latter has taken on a role away from the sharp end.

Next season will not be easy for the Haws but the fact that they are playing in a good standard and have a great youth set up is a really good place to be.

There are a few good stories among the smaller clubs in the area such as at Lochore where the Welfare were almost dead a few years back and now they are in the Super League.

Everyone down at Crosshill deserves a pat on the back and the Lochgelly Albert fans should not worry for while they were bottom last season they will be back with the hard workers they have too.
