I READ with interest the front page article in a recent paper at about Farm Road, in Cowdenbeath.
This does not just happen in Cowdenbeath. No amount of traffic calming measures, flashing "current speed" lights or cardboard cut out coppers will deter these speedster.
Policing it doesn't work either as we have NO POLICE !
The only way to stop these irresponsible individuals if to hand out fines and penalty points .
I live on the Avenue in Lochgelly and despite the numerous speed bumps and traffic calming tables at the junctions , the cars still travel well in excess of the 20mph limit. Particularly at the town park section. T
he current generation of SUV type vehicles cover these bumps with impunity. MORE FINES AND MORE POINTS oh!....and MORE POLICE.
