IT was very interesting in the article in last week's paper about the problems being experienced in Lumphinnans.

I am bound to say that I have driven up these two roads since the care village was opened and the parking problem certainly is something you cannot miss.

There are cars stuck on pavements everywhere about the care village and you don't have to be a detective to notice that there are a limited number of parking spaces for staff and visitors.

It must be very frustrating for residents of Cedar Crescent and Sycamore Crescent as parking spaces are very tight indeed in terms of numbers.

There are not enough, simple as that, and really you would have thought that it would have been something that was properly worked out way back when the care village was being built.

There are plenty of green fields around the site so why not use them to tackle something which is posing real problems.

The community council is quite right to be furious with what is going on for it all adds up to bad news for Lumphinnans.

The fact is that the parking problems in the area are not singular to Lumphinnans.

Lochgelly is a complete nightmare at times, especially in the Francis Street area, virtually any day of the week.

Folk just stick their cars, vans and even lorries anywhere they like.

It is a complete farce and it is totally wrong what we see. If we had some parking wardens it would make a difference.
