I RECENTLY read a person was convicted for a Breach of the Peace for attempting suicide.
It went to Court and the person was admonished. A finding of guilt but no punishment.
I have been through the system myself many times and the mental health services are weak.
How the Procurator Fiscal thought it was in the public interest to prosecute this person baffles me.
I would like to highlight the situation that in Scotland attempting to take your own life could result in the Courts.
BRYAN MORGAN.
