I WOULD say that the politicians are going to have some problem getting ScotRail sorted out.

Local MSP Annabelle Ewing made some good points about the problems on the Fife Circle.

I have been left waiting and waiting a more than a few times with trains being late at Lochgelly Station.

It was interesting that Annabelle Ewing brought up the point in the Scottish Parliament that passengers who felt they were going to Cardenden found that the train did not stop at the village station.

That certainly is not right at all and surely the rail company should be trying to avoid these sort of situations developing.

I noticed in the Times that Green MSP, Mark Ruskell is also taking up the points that some of our stations are not fully accessible.

While that is not ScotRail’s fault it certainly is something that should be tackled.

Cowdenbeath Station has a very steep slope leading to it from High Street and in the winter I am sure it is not good at all for disabled people and say young mums with prams.

As far as the timings of services are concerned these are very important for passengers, whether it be commuters or people just going for a day out to Edinburgh.

Train timings are very important but it just does not seem that ScotRail take this seriously but maybe the pressure from the MSPs could see a change in heart from the rail folk.
