I HAVE to admit that the street art in Kelty and Cowdenbeath has been really pretty impressive.

Cowdenbeath High Street has been given a completely upbeat look in the evening by the shutters of businesses being made completely different.

The huge image in Brunton Square is also very striking while the Benarty Community shop has an impressive look to.

I was wondering if there are any plans to create something similar in Lochgelly.

The town has been getting better and better over the past few years and there are more good plans for the future.

But it would be really brilliant if we could see some street art on the likes of Main Street and Bank Street.

I believe that most of the work has been done by young people from Beath High School and I am sure that there are youngsters at Lochgelly High who would like to get involved.

Also there are scouts and youth groups in Lochgelly who could get involved.

Hopefully the town will not miss out on this brilliant public art project which is making a difference to communities and it is something that could help complete Lochgelly’s new look.

Benarty Avenue,

Lochgelly.
