IN response Mr Darren Watt's letter in the CFT (9/3/17) I would like to pose a question to the Tory candidate.
In his lengthy letter Mr Watt said, 'we are the party of low taxation and believe the family budget should always come before the Government budget'
How does Mr Watt explain that as a result of Tory Welfare Reform family budgets in the Cowdenbeath area have lost over £22m per year. While in more well-off areas like St Andrews family budgets have lost only £3.5m.
My question to Mr Watt, clearly your party is more concerned with the family budgets of the well-off. So how can the people in the Cowdenbeath Area trust you will put their priorities first?
MARK HOOD,
The Beeches,
Lochgelly.
