THE people who carried out their motorbiking activities which seriously damaged fields at Lochore Meadows Country Park need to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror.
These unwelcome visitors to Fife's biggest visitor attraction caused damage which will take a considerable sum and time to repair.
Their totally needless night time activities saw them damage not only the huge display area near the Mary Colliery Pithead but also the grassed areas leading up to the park visitor centre.
Park boss Ian Laing is totally right to be furious at what happened, as at this time of year repairing damage such as this is no easy job.
What these vandals did was not only causing wanton damage, they were also likely breaking a number of road traffic regulations so all in all it was not a clever night's work.
They seem to have forgotten that this is indeed Fife's biggest visitor attraction and causing damage such as occurred last Tuesday night, is completely unacceptable.
