IN answer to Mac Threinfhir’s letter to the CFT, the answer is yes, Flower of Scotland is a relatively new song.
I also will sing ‘Scots Wha Hae’, ‘Scotland the Brave’ etc, I know all the words and the verses in the correct order - do they?
Just for the record, I’ll wear my kilt as well, especially when I travel anywhere in the world, to support my beloved Scotland, either football or rugby.
Food banks? When we’re led to believe there’s an obesity epidemic costing the NHS in Scotland millions, makes a change from blaming the elderly I suppose.
To say, “How can any true Scot forget the heroes of the past?” is drivel.
Go to any war memorial on Remembrance Sunday and you’ll see who are true Scots or poor soul, did you have such a poor upbringing that no-one told you about the millions of Scots, English, Irish, Welsh and other allied soldiers, who jointly fought to preserve the freedom of all, including you!
You obviously have no self respect, why else would you sign yourself with a false name?
Get real - get an education on Scottish History and stop living in cloud cuckoo land.
