Former Coronation Street star Sean Ward has said he has been left homeless due to his anti-vax views, as producers have not been wanting to hire him as a result.

Ward played Callum Logan on the ITV soap from 2014 to 2015 and has also appeared in programmes like Doctors and Our Girl.

The 33-year-old has outspoken over his stance against the Covid vaccine and has attended several protests.

He was also arrested in one of those protests at Canary Wharf in London in September 2021 and was pictured being escorted away by police.

In the past two years he has been unable to find acting work which has left him struggling to pay rent which has left him sleeping on a mattress in a friend’s spare room for more than a year.

Ward detailed his situation in an Instagram post, saying: " Firstly the work dried up. No one would hire me whether in front of or behind the camera, all my usual ways of making money just stopped, eventually I couldn’t afford the rent.

"So I gave up my 4 bed house and move onto my friend’s couch. I had to put all my belongings into storage. After a while I couldn’t afford to pay the storage bill and after about 4 weeks of missing the payments – equating to about £500 – Safe store UK sold all belongings.

"My sofa, my bed frame, my office equipment, desk, chair, wardrobes, mirrors, all my coats and clothes and my projector.

"Everything to fill a family house. My whole life was in that storage unit. I lost it all. I was devastated but I couldn’t ask anyone for help because it was my choice to speak out."

Ward said his car was also seized by the DVSLA and that his teeth started to fall out due to mounting stress.

He also called out the BBC for commissioning a documentary on him for which they "harassed" his sister to appear on the programme to "help me with my 'delusions'" and that they implied that he was "suffering from mental health".
