THE Easter atmosphere is building in local churches with a number of events taking place this week.
Several services are taking place in Cowdenbeath Trinity Church in Crossgates.
The Trinity congregations are using the Crossgates Church for all three services – ie the same venue every night for this year. All services begin at 7 p.m.
The Wednesday (tonight) service is being conducted by Rev Graham Kinloch, of Cowdenbeath Baptist Church, in Crossgates.
The Maundy Thursday service, is a Tenebrae Communion service conducted by Rev Gavin Boswell of Trinity Church.
The Good Friday service will be conducted by Rev Elizabeth Kenny, from the Beath Cowdenbeath Church, also at Trinity, Crossgates.
Meanwhile Benarty and Lochelly Churches Together are holding a combined service on Good Friday 2018 at 7pm at St. Serfs Benarty. All are welcome to attend, and an Easter Service is being held at the Union Hall, Broad Street, Cowdenbeath, at 6pm on Sunday.
