The popular Quid-a-Kid scheme is set to return to central Fife leisure centres during the October school holidays, offering children and young people the chance to take part in sporting activities for just £1.
Fife Sports and Leisure Trust has announced a programme of holiday activities at venues including Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre and Bowhill Leisure Centre in Cardenden.
Under the initiative, youngsters aged 17 and under can enjoy football, swimming and racquet sports sessions for £1, while adults accompanying children to football or racquet sports can take part for £2.
Alongside the discounted sessions, a range of camps will be available throughout the school break, including Active Kidz, swimming, basketball, football, gymnastics and K-Pop dance camps.
Lee Cunningham, activities manager at Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, said: "Our school holiday programmes are always incredibly popular and offer a fantastic mix of fun, activity and learning. From our affordable Quid-a-Kid sessions to action-packed camps, there's something for every age and interest.
"We encourage families to book early to avoid disappointment and make the most of the October holidays."
Families are being encouraged to secure places as soon as possible, with activities operating on a first-come, first-served basis.
