Police charge teen with possession of weapons in Kelty

A 17-year-old teen has been charged in connection with the possession of weapons in Kelty.

Police, including firearms officers, were called to Main Street on Thursday afternoon (Yesterday).

It's understood that the incident did not involve a firearm and no one was injured.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 17-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection with being in possession of weapons on Main Street, Kelty, on the afternoon of Thursday, September 10.

“There were no reports of any injuries.

"He is due to appear in court at a later date.”
